Join Attorney Chris Krimmer to consider the current status of same-sex marriage in WI, including a discussion of this summer's U.S. Supreme Court decision in which the right of same-sex couples to marry will be affirmed, or the door may be opened for WI's ban on same-sex marriage to be reinstated. The webinar will also address unique aspects of divorce for gay and lesbian couples who married, and how to apply various family law statutes in the context of same-sex marriage, such as those involving adoptions and the children born during marriage. Each month, participants focus on strengthening a different area of skill and knowledge that is needed to direct a fully functioning organization. Each year, American Indians Against Abuse (AIAA), End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin and WCASA present annual training for rural and tribal programs. This training was designed for staff of Wisconsin rural and tribal domestic and sexual abuse programs. Advocates of all experience levels are welcome.

The Day of Networking is just for advocates from domestic abuse and sexual assault organizations to attend, free of charge, from 10 AM to 3 PM. It's all about learning and networking with your colleagues. In the morning we'll have a large group learning opportunity. We'll break for lunch and attend smaller breakout sessions in the afternoon. Details will be posted soon!

WE LEAD is a yearlong leadership academy which focuses on building new voices of leadership within the movement to end domestic and sexual violence by providing hands-on leadership development opportunities for survivors of violence and/or people from Wisconsin’s underserved or under-represented communities. This is the second scheduled session for the 2015-2016 academy.

Directors of WI tribal, non-tribal, domestic violence and dual programs attend this semiannual meeting to share and learn from each other. End Abuse co-sponsors the meeting with American Indians Against Abuse (AIAA) and the WI Coalition Against Sexual Assault (WCASA). Details and registration will be available in July.
