Implementation of new firearms surrender procedures will begin soon!  Join Director of Justice Systems Tess Meuer for the only training End Abuse will provide on the new firearms surrender procedures prior to their implementation on November 1, 2014. This presentation will not be part of the November 5 Restraining Order training. All advocates who assist with restraining orders are encouraged to attend.

Join us in Wausau for the final Day of Networking of the year.  It's a great training and networking opportunity!

In the morning participants will learn about Risk Assessment Skills for Advocates.  In the afternoon choose one of two workshop topics: Characteristics of Abusers, or Human Trafficking.  Please note that this free event is offered only to staff of domestic abuse and sexual assault programs.

It is designed for any advocate who will assist individuals to obtain restraining orders.  Learn to: help a victim assess whether they want a restraining order; explain the process to obtain one; determine eligibility for different types of orders; assist a victim to complete a petition; prepare a victim for court; and more. Don't miss this training!  It is the only one of its kind in 2014.

WE LEAD is a yearlong leadership academy which focuses on building new voices of leadership within the movement to end domestic and sexual violence by providing hands-on leadership development opportunities for survivors of violence and/or people from Wisconsin’s underserved or under-represented communities. This is the fourth scheduled session for the 2014-2015 academy.
