Transforming Services for Children and Youth: Creating Trauma-Informed Support for Families in Wisconsin Domestic Violence Programs

Webinar Susan Blumenfeld of the National Center on Domestic Violence, Trauma & Mental Health presents a framework for building a trauma-informed approach to meeting the needs of children, youth and families exposed to domestic violence. Participants gain practical strategies for working with families to: enhance children’s resilience and support mother-child relationships to foster healing from traumatic effects of domestic violence. Designed for WI domestic abuse service providers: directors wncouraged to participate with advocates, particularly those who work with children and youth.
