UNIDOS Against Domestic Violence is a Latin@ organization that was founded in 1996 to help Latina victims and survivors access domestic violence services. The agency has since expanded to include sexual assault. The mission of UNIDOS is to provide a bridge to a safe environment through needs assessment, direct support, referral, education, training, and collaboration to break the cycle of domestic violence in Latino communities, one family at a time.
Services (e.g. support and leadership groups, information and referrals, sexual assault counseling) are currently provided in Dane and Rock counties, and UNIDOS provides technical assistance and training to service providers across Wisconsin. UNIDOS relies on grassroots input from Latin@ victims and survivors to help guide and inform programming, and UNIDOS is committed to advancing social justice.
UNIDOS is seeking a skilled, bilingual professional with a passion for social change to fill the role of Executive Director.
