DAIS is the leading provider of domestic violence intervention and prevention services in Dane County. Founded in 1977, DAIS has grown from its humble beginnings of five volunteers working out of a church basement, to an organization of close to 30 full-time staff, numerous part-time staff, and over 130 volunteers providing comprehensive prevention and intervention programming to thousands of Dane County residents each year. The organization is on the cusp of substantial growth in programming and the required staff and volunteer corps to support that programming. Additionally, the organization is in the midst of constructing a new, much larger facility slated to open in the summer of 2014.
 
DAIS is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to join our growing team. The Facility Manager (FM) will be responsible for the appearance, safety and functionality of the DAIS physical plant and will manage a broad range of operations that allow DAIS to function efficiently and safely. Additionally, the FM will provide future planning for facility operations. The FM will also supervise maintenance and custodial staff and will serve as the primary contact for certain vendors and contractors.
 
A successful candidate will have five years of facility management experience, including at least two years of supervisory experience and experience managing security systems. Additionally, the successful candidate will have a journeyman’s card and a high school diploma/equivalency. Associate’s degree strongly preferred.
