Hours: 40 hours per week. On call duties may include nights and weekends.
Job Description: The Violence Intervention Project's Youth Advocate provides direct services to children in regards to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and bullying. This position provides Prevention Education to public and parochial schools and daycares throughout Kewaunee County. The Youth Advocate will coordinate and facilitate youth support groups. This position is responsible for developing working relationships and coordinating youth services within a network of service providers and participate on community youth committees as needed. The Youth Advocate position also is responsible for participation in on call Helpline duties.
