This Video/DVD Library contains videos and DVDs that can be used for presentations, trainings, support groups, etc. It is recommend that you preview any borrowed resource to decide how much of it serves your objective(s).

These video and DVD resources have been recommended and reviewed by our members at the time of acquisition. Some of them were reviewed by the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence and the Bureau on Aging. Some are old. Some are new. This VIDEO/DVD Library Guide, like the website itself, is undergoing revision. In the meantime, what you find here will acquaint you with the current collection and our lending policies.

Action Alert: Call Your State Senator to Oppose a Bill that Permits Evictions of Crime Victims

The State Senate is about to begin considering a bill that would allow lease provisions like this: If a crime occurs on the property, even if the tenant is the victim of the crime and could not have prevented the crime, the landlord may evict the tenant. Obviously, this bill would have a horrible silencing effect on domestic violence victims, who would have to consider whether a call to the police for help will cause them to be kicked out of their homes.
