WCADV and WCASA co-sponsor a statewide committee to give voice to people who are under-represented, based on gender identity and/or sexual orientation and whose lives have been effected by sexual and/or domestic violence. Our membership includes community members, program staff, direct-service advocates and people interested in addressing the issues of sexual and domestic violence for the LGBT community. Funders for LGBTQ Issues launched a historic, online resource to help grantmakers understand the critical issues facing lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBTQ) communities of color. This toolkit includes a range of original funder tools, perspectives from foundation and nonprofit leaders in the field, related publications and much more. We hope to enhance the philanthropic conversation on opportunity, diversity and equity.

The Northwest Network
